Description
The picture and colors was partly inspired by Disney's work and also by the book itself. As a child I really adored Disney Alice in Wonderland, but I only read the actual book and the Through the Looking-Glass in my late high school years and it had kind of different impact on me. Still I adore the story. I drew the linet picture on my train trip back home from Prague 2 weeks ago and colored in the last couple of days as I couldn't fall a asleep.
It is not exactly how I imagined, but I had lots of fun. This time choose more vivid and bolder colors to fit the Wonderland theme than my usual colors. It has been ages since I drew such a complex border, so I was anxious not to clash too much the colors.
Photos and wip of the actual picture on my tumblr:namtia.tumblr.com/tagged/alice
Media: markers, color pencil in my art journal with lots of loooveeee

This is really lovely work! I love how you use your colors to add a lot of the shading and contour to your linearts! I tend to draw all of that in ink, then my picture looks sort of dark and scratchy... T-T
